Indication/usage

• This drug is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.
• 1. This drug is administered as monotherapy.
• 2. This drug is administered as a combination therapy in the following cases:
• 1) If blood sugar is not properly controlled by oral hypoglycemic agents (concurrent use with insulin)
• 2) If blood sugar is not adequately controlled by sulfonylurea-based or metformin as a monotherapy (concurrent with metformin)
