Indication/usage

• 1. Primary hyperlipidemia: Combined type of hypercholesterolemia (Type IIa), hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia (Type IIb))
• 2. Reduce the risk of initial myocardial infarction and mortality due to coronary heart disease in patients with hypercholesterolemia or complicated hypercholesterolemia among the following high-risk patients
• 3. Reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, need for myocardial revascularization procedures, ischemic stroke, and transient ischemic attack in patients with a history of either myocardial infarction or unstable angina
